The first day is not good for both team. Pakistan won the toss and asked
New Zealand to bat on a dry and dusty wicket that looked ideal for
batting. The hosts lost wickets regularly, though, most of them to
injudicious shots rather than good bowling and struggled to still
be batting at the end of the day.
According to New zealand point of view they did'nt have good start.Top six batsman disappoint by thier performance.only Jesse Ryder, run out
when Wahab Riaz deflected a shot on to the stumps at the bowler’s
end, was unlucky to be dismissed. Tim McInstosh and Ross Taylor
both gave their wickets away cheaply, whilst Brendon McCullum and
Martin Guptill were both out slogging balls that they could easily
have hit along the ground. .But Tail ender perform good for thier team especially southee and Williamson have now put 83 runs on the scoreboard.
The Pakistani Bowlers is not looking so impressive in this pitch till yet except spinner Abdur Rehman who bowled 30 overs included 13 maidens.
